Lucid Cats is a family-owned business founded in early 2024. It just so happened that a few months later, we had the opportunity to take a road trip across the country with two of our dogs. Our journey took us from coast to coast, and we noticed that the items in local shops often reflected the beauty and character of the surrounding landscapes. Inspired by this connection, we decided to pause our business after the trip to make some meaningful changes. We wanted our website and the products we offer to truly capture and represent the essence of our business landscape and the things that inspire our work.

We truly believe our pets make us better people. They remind us to appreciate the little moments and have a special way of brightening our lives. Over time, our pets naturally become the heart of our homes and cherished members of the family. We want them by our side for life’s big moments and to experience the thrill of new adventures. Spending time with our pets creates unbreakable bonds—after all, who hasn’t said, ‘If my dog or cat can’t come, I’m not going!’? That’s exactly why our landscape includes essentials for our four-legged companions. From everyday activities to road trips, we’ve carefully selected products to make life with your pet even more enjoyable.

Another important aspect of our landscape, is to make the places where we spend most of our time comfortable and speaks to our own pet-loving nature. That space can be the car you drive every day, the office you work from, or the apartment where you unwind after a long day. The Lucid Cats work space is an eclectic mix of things that we love and sparks our creativity. Our goal in the future will be to bring you into that space as we share new products and prepare orders. We are very excited for that time to come!

Our landscape isn’t complete without high quality, unique goods. We met some wonderful artisans and shop owners while traveling which is why we decided to make it a priority to have inventory that is designed or manufactured by independent artisans or other small businesses located throughout the country. It is also important that we support what we care about most, by offering a selection of products from caring businesses, many purchases will also support animal advocacy. We will always share information about those organizations in a product’s description so you can see how your purchase contributes to making life better for our four-legged friends.
